yeeox in 36 Forms
Project Twelve hosted a variety of events for the art of the year, yeeox. A paper-folding Workshop led by Cheung Yee’s apprentice, Ms. Jaffa Lam who is herself an established young local artist, for design students at HKICC. They were invited to realise their imagination with the means of paper-folding and 36 outstanding works were selected to exhibit alongside yeeox in the exhibition at the Gallery of HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity.
In conversation with Dr. Kurt Chan, Cheung Yee had a sharing session on his creative trajectory and the creation of yeeox at The Pawn with fellow artists and art enthusiasts.
To inaugurate the official launch of yeeox, Project Twelve opened the exhibition “yeeox in 36 Forms” with a Cocktail Reception and presented awards to the 5 most outstanding works of paper-folding from the Workshop.
